Strathberry Launch Burlington Arcade Store

A store with a display of handbags and purses

November 2018, Strathberry opens its first stand-alone store in London’s iconic Burlington Arcade, in the heart of Mayfair.

This will be the first solo retail location for Strathberry, joining existing points of sale including Selfridges, Saks Fifth Avenue and Lane Crawford, and in addition to our online store and showroom in our Edinburgh Head Office. The renowned London neighbourhood, where the boutique will be located, hosts an extensive range of specialist and independent stores and Burlington Arcade has a long history of championing artisans, making it the perfect location for the brand. More than just a shopping environment, the boutique will operate as the home of Strathberry in London, hosting events and showcasing unique product launches.

For the opening, Strathberry have created the East / West range in a variety of exclusive rainbow colours; Blossom Yellow, Petrol, Lilac, Orange, Sage and Navy.

Guy Hundleby says;

‘We are excited to be opening our first store in London. With its historical significance, warm ambience and energy, Burlington Arcade captures the spirit of Strathberry and is the perfect setting for the unveiling of this next chapter in our brand’s story. We are delighted to have a space where customers can experience the collection first hand.’

On select dates in December, local illustrator Jennifer Darr will be in-store personalising customers’ bags with a choice of their initials or painted designs. More exclusive launches and activities are planned for next year.

Burlington is a historic space and the Strathberry team relish the opportunity to work in this treasured shopping destination and also to bring the Strathberry brand to life in a modern setting. The boutique itself has a contemporary, light and understated interior using natural materials including teak and brushed brass fittings, paired with custom furniture handcrafted in Edinburgh.
